Love is an adventure. It goes exploring. It jumps all in, even in the scary times. It has its ups and downs but focuses on the ups. Christy and Emil found each other and have been adventuring ever since, falling more in love through different travels and journeys of life. Their day was full of happy tears from waiting to find each other... and joy from family and friends that their greatest adventure yet was just beginning!

The first time we met Kelton and Cole was on their wedding day... We walked away from her purple and blue dress and their foot stomping reception feeling like a piece of our hearts was with them. Years later here we are documenting another beautiful story in their lives- one of family. This was by far the most unscripted session we have ever photographed. We let them just be themselves... color, snuggle, play the time away with us. We loved watching them giggle as they swung higher, race to peek out on the water, and breathe in the familiar love of each other.
This day was special to us... God brought Amy into our lives years ago at one of our photography workshops. Her cute bubbly self popped into the door that day and we fell in love. God knit our friendship together in such a precise way that we were able to watch her and Curt's story from the beginning through social media... when they first met to when he asked her to be his forever. Cryssi and I knew we would both be overwhelmed with joy and emotions for her, but nothing really prepared us when capturing their first look, vows, first dance... It was such a lovely real dream. So thankful that we were there and able to dance inside and out with them through the first steps of becoming a Mr. and Mrs. We love you Curt and Amy and cannot wait to watch how God continues to write your story.
Bailey and Ethan hiked up to the top of the world to build a tent and snuggle beside the mountains. We watched them whisper their love, bundle up against the wind, and share in the excitement of their wedding this summer. Oh, mountains, we long for you to be our home!
